The pianoduo ‚ShinPark‘ is a south korean duo who live in Vienna, Austria.

Clara-Mijung Shin and Samuel-Sangwook Park have been performing
together as a piano duo since 2013.

They made their debut in the concert hall of the Vienna Boys‘ Choir.
Just a few weeks later, they won second prizes: at the Concorso
Internazionale Pianistico „Roma“ 2013 (categories ‚Two Pianos‘ and ‚4 Hands‘).

The two pianists were born in 1980 and 1990 in South Korea and
received since early childhood piano lessons.
They studied initially independently at the University of Music and
Performing Arts and at the Vienna Conservatory(Konservatorium Wien).

Also they attended numerous master classes as a piano duo with renowned
pianists, including Menahem Pressler, Paul Badura-Skoda and Daniel Barenboim.

Since 2015, the piano duo ShinPark studying together with Prof. Hans-Peter
and Volker Stenzl at the Rostock University of Music and Theater Germany.

In June 2015, duo ShinPark awarded the first prize in the category piano duo
at the International Piano Competition „Ischia“.

In September 2015,the piano duo ShinPark won second prize at the 64th
International Music Competition of the ARD, which’s one of the most
prestigious classical music competitions.

In September 2015 they performed W.A. Mozart’s Concerto for 2 Pianos with
Orchestra in E flat Major KV.365 with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra
(German: Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks) under the Maestro Jun
Märkl at Hercules Hall of Residence Munich, Germany
